Researchers and writers use the Internet as a means of research. Before the advent of the world wide web, research took far longer than it does today. While there are a huge number of websites for writers and researchers to use, having a concise list of the easiest places to look for quick research is a priceless tool.
6. Bukisa- this website is similar to ezine articles but completely new. The site offers articles that can be used for free on blogs and websites. The best part is the ease and speed at which new articles are added. Makes for some great research.
7. Online News Websites - websites like CNN and MSN are both awesome sources of information. The websites can be searched to validate information from the reputable sources.
8. Government Websites - depending on the information you are looking for - there may be a government website just waiting to be researched. This is especially if you are researching a medical or governmental piece.
9. Press Releases - press releases offer the latest up to date information on just about everything. The only warning is to make sure the press release is not a marketing ploy with worthless information.
10. Your Computer - if you keep any older pieces on a hard drive, you can use those pieces as a perfect source for future works. Compare several of your articles on the same topic and voila-you have a new article.
Research should not take hours for one article. The idea is to find the best sources of information and keep those close at hand all the time. Bookmarks are a writer's and a researcher's best friend.
